Position not available error in PA 40

I have created one new position & also created vacancy for the same position in PRD. When I am hiring an employee against that position in PRD system, the system throws error message, " No position available".

I have throughly checked & run the reports RHINTE10 & RHINTE20 in the PRD with Live mode. Everything is ok . Rather I have checked tables T527X, T528T, T528B & T513S properly. All OM objects are getting updated in these tables. But when I am trying to hire an employee through PA 40, system throws error message" Position not available.

Would anybody help me out ? I am in PRD server.

Hi,

check the following:

1) Position validity dates & Date of Hiring in PA40.

2) Correct Plan version is used (check using tcode OOPV).

Position created on 01.01.1991 & hiring date 01.04.2018. also checked for correct plan version.. still this error is coming... Pls suggest, what to do, how to solve.. ? Would you pls elaborate the steps one by one... Thanks
