How to get a filter under 4000 to use on SAC Page Filters without losing valuable data

I have a measurement (inquiries) and dimension (IDs). I want to use a page filter to find data on any 1 ID via search -- this is easy, except the chart has more than 4000 IDs, and SAC does not support anything larger than 4000 count for filters and will just "use the first 4000 in the list".

So I'm thinking to filter any ID that has less than 10 inquiries? . . . How can I do that?

I want to filter out any ID (Dimension) with less than 10 inquiries (Measure). I have seen videos of "measure based calculated dimensions" which seems to be ideal, but I do not see that option when I click on Add/Measure dimensions. Is this not supported in HANA Live Connections?

The end result I want to get to . . . I have over 4000 IDs (which means I have to filter that down to under 4000 so we can use an ID Search Filter on that chart). I want to filter the IDs down by less than 10 inquiries as they are not relevant for this data and presumably would drop me under 4000 total IDs to filter.

Hello Michael,

currently you do not have the option to restrict a list of filter values specifically for an input control. The list of members for the input control is based on the data source and other filters defined in the story / page.

So in your case you could either restrict the complete data set already before it comes to SAP Analytics Cloud or you create a calculation as part of the source information that counts the number of inquiries and then filter on that value (measure based filtering).
