hello everyone,
I developed a web-based financial application that connects to the General Ledger software on the customer's premises and extracts raw transaction data and process it in the cloud.
I am now required by customers to develop a SAP B1 interface that would pull out the data from SAP.
how exactly does the SDK work from a licensing perspective? does it force EVERY end customer to purchase an SDK license from SAP to run my application??
many thanks for your help,
Nigel.
Hi Nigel,
SDK License is only for developers.
Customers having B1 licenses can run your addon only paying extra to your company for your addon license if you use a license mechanism. If you don't use the license mechanism then only B1 licenses will be needed.
In order to have more information regarding B1 licenses and the given free licenses given per each B1 license you can have a look to the following page (needs SP user credentials):
https://service.sap.com/~sapidb/011000358700001187372008E/B1-LKrequest_V3.htm
Hope it helps
Trinidad.
