Hi Expets
I got a requirement that thirdparty SaaS application will drop files into SAP PI folder as an SSH and they have shared public keys to store it.
I have seen scenarios to pick files from third party SFTP server, but i am not aware how to handle files dropped in SAP PI from SFTP server.
my concerns.
1. do we need to store public keys using NWA? if yes please let me know the paths.
2. do we really need public keys if they drop files in XI server? if yes please let me know why.
3. cant we use NFS directly for this requirement.
Please provide your valuable comments.
Hi,
1. do we need to store public keys using NWA? if yes please let me know the paths: No need to deploy any keys in NWA.
2. do we really need public keys if they drop files in XI server? if yes please let me know why: This depends on the way the third party wants to authenticate to your SFTP server. If the Server supports UserID/Password then just provide these. If Server supports Key base Auth you nee to have their public key in your OS level authorized_keys fine in the .ssh folder ( check with your basis team
3. cant we use NFS directly for this requirement. : Yes you can use NFS to access your local server.
