How to resolve the error message QS150 on the transaction code QS25?

0 Kudos

We have created a MIC MC44714 in QS21, we tried to delete it on QS25 but it is giving an error "No validity period was selected for master inspection charac " Message no. QS150.

The answer for the system responses are as follows;

1. The master inspection characteristic has not been created - I previously checked and the status is being created.

2. You do not have authorization to edit the master inspection characteristic - I have the authorization.

3. The master inspection characteristic is being used/has been used and cannot therefore be deleted - I previously check it and nowhere used. Checked on QS26

Thank you for the response Albert!

I checked the table QPMK and the field LSPER is activated, is possible to deselect the field LSPER from the MIC?, how can I avoid from next MICs does not activate it?

Regards!

Dear Anais De Los Santos,

thank you for you pre-analysis.

Error message QS150 can occur, if in plant specific QM customizing the flag [x] 'Master insp. characs with history' was active when the master inspection characteristic (MIC) was created/changed. Therefore, more versions of the MIC is available and some of the versions, were in use.

Table QPMK stores the MIC data. Field LSPER is the indicator for 'Data Record Is Used'. If by any mean LSPER is set for one of the versions, transaction QS25 can raise error QS150.

Have a nice day,
Albert
