04 insp type- early inspection

Hi, i have tried to set early inspection before doing GR (actually in-process stage) in material master. in material master quality view, i could not find any field like early inspection. please advise how to set the same.

Greetings!!!!!

Follow the instructions below.

Pre-requisites.

In QM view for material master, under the details for inspection type 04, select the option "Early Lot creation for the Order item" in the field "Control Insp Lot"

Process

For this material create an Order.

Release the Order.

You will find as soon as you release the order there will be an inspection lot generated with type 04 for the released order.

Cross check it in QA33

This way you will be able to generate the 04 inspection lot for before posting the GR.

03 inspection type is for In process inspection.
