Advantages of SAP BPC Netweaver 7

Hi

What are the advantages of SAP BPC 7 Netweaver over SAP BPC 5.x MS version.

Can we directly upgrade SAP BPC 5.x MS Version to SAP BPC7 Netweaver

Please can anyone give me some good overview documents of SAP BPC7 Netweaver version.

1. Q: What are the advantages of SAP BPC 7 Netweaver over SAP BPC 5.x MS version

A: The first reason to use BPC NW is to have close integration with your previous SAP solutions both BW (you use it as metadata, as datawarehouse for BPC, ETL and more) and ERP.

The second reason is that when you buy BPC and you get Netweaver that gives you all those pluses and advantages Netweaver platform has (http://www.sap.com/platform/netweaver/components/index.epx).

2. Q: Can we directly upgrade SAP BPC 5.x MS Version to SAP BPC7 Netweaver

A: No you cant migrate directly. Platforms use different metadata.You have to migrate manually all metadata first and then you can automatically or manually download data you had.

3. Q: Please can anyone give me some good overview documents of SAP BPC7 Netweaver version.
