ForeCast Data in MD63

Hi,

I have an issue, we have a set of materials for which the forecast data is updated for certain period X,Y,Z. When the data is updated, the old values in planning table is deleted and new data is updated. if there is no new forcast data for a particular material in that period, then it will show blank for that period in planning table. in my case, even though there is no new forecast data for the period X,Y and Z it shows blank in planning table (MC89), but it shows the old forecast data in requirements (MD63)..actually their should not be any value for this in MD63..can any explain me what may be the cuase?

In MC89 you would creating/changing the plan(forecast) for the material and latter on transferring to Demand Management through respective transaction, which you finally see in MD63.

During transferring the SOP Plan to Demand Management, system would check for the defination of the Infostructure whether "Zero Values" are allowed to be transferred to Demand Management. If for the Infostructure this is not defined then during transfer Zero values are not transferred.

Standard Infostructure used for SOP is S076, so please check the defination of the Infostructure using transaction MC7F. In MC7F transaction select the Infostructure and for field "Zero Values to MRP" activate the check box.

I am sure this would work....
