Dear

when i create a customer error message comes sales organisatio ,distributed channel & division is not define for customer

but i define on interprises structure on sales and division for sales organisation & distribution channel & logistic general for division .

pls guide me

Hi,

After Defining & assigning the Sales orgranisation, Distribtion channel & division, You have to serup COMMON DISTRIBTION CHANNEL & COMMON DIVISIONS

Goto the Path

SPRO-> SALES & DISTRIBTION->MASTER DATA--->COMMON DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL (VOR1)

SPRO-->SALES & DISTRIBTION->MASTER DATA---> COMMON DIVISIONS (VOR2)

Please make these settings and revert try.

sales org assign with- dc(distribution channel)-dc-dc(three times)

in vor2

sales org assign with- cd(division)-dc-dc(three times)

If you are maintaining customer for the same sales are as in VOR1 and VOR2 it should work

Check the assignment in OVXG T code and entries in TVTA table and Crete the customer accordingly

1) Check your confign in Enterprise structure.

2)OVR1/R2-COMMON DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS & Divisions.

Save all data.

3) Now try to create customer using your sales area.

i too faced same error, when i tend to change the Partner determination for sales doc header, please check with standard TA and then you can fix new name for the same, herefor your info'

Define partner determination procedure:

IMG -> SD -> Basic Functions -> Partner Determination -> Setup Partner Determination -> Partner Determination For Sales Doc Header

Click on Partner Type

Go To New Entries and Define Partner Types

Customer KU

Vendor LI

Contact Person AP

Sales Employ SE

Select Partner Type KU and Go To Details Icon and Maintain Partner Functions

SP Sold To Party

SH Ship To Party

BP Bill To Party

PY Payer

Come Back and Click On

Assign Partner Type To Sales Doc Header

KU To TA

Assign Partner Functions To Account Group

SP To ACC GROUP

SH

BP

PY Same.

For Sales Doc Header The Partner Functions Can Be Determined From Customer Master.

Hi ,

Please check the sales area , whether you are using the right combination and the assignment is correct (enterprise structure ) , Check VOR1and VOR2 whether Common Distribution channel and common Divisions.
