SMIGR_CREATE_DLL for MSSQL Solution Manager

Hi, I am having some doubts and want to run it by others. I am doing a system export of Solution Manager 7.2 using the r3load method. When running the SMIGR_CREATE_DLL report, I have 3 options for SQL 2012.

1-SQL Server 2012

2-SQL Server 2012 (all row-store)

3-SQL Server 2012 (all column-store)

I have reviewed oss note

https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/1593998

Looking for more clarification between, however I ran the report for all 3 options, option 2 and 3 have the exact result, no errors, however option 1 produces 2 fatal errors.

/BI0/DOSMD_ADCD4 and /BI0/D0ORA_C10M4

Obviously complaining about

Cube dimension tables [/BI*/D<cube name>*]

  • Standard table indexes will be adapted to the index layout for MSSQL.

Because this is a solution manager with a BI engine, I'm a bit confused how I should proceed. Any suggestions? I also have page compression.

Should I try and resolve those 2 fatal errors or continue with option 2 or 3?

Yes sorry I forgot to update my findings.

You are correct, I referenced that note and ran the report.

Report is funny, just runs and no output.

When I re-run the create DLL report, I noticed 2 less objects existed then before so I knew it would work.

How I found the note, I created my DLL report with option 2 above, it completed, ran SWPM and at the very end, that failed. started googling and found that note. All is well, finished my export and import of SOLMAN 7.2 abap and java in a MCOD SQL DB.
