B1DE for version 8.8

Hi,

Is B1DE released for version 8.8?

Presently i am using B1DE 2.0, VS2008, SAP Business One 8.8. When i create a project through B1DE i am getting below error..

The project currently contains references to more than one version of Interop.SAPbobsCOM, a direct reference to version 8.8.0.0 and an indirect reference (through 'B1WizardBase.B1Connections.diCompany') to version 2007.0.0.0. Change the direct reference to use version 2007.0.0.0 (or higher) of Interop.SAPbobsCOM.

Can anyone please suggest?

B1DE 2.1 for SAP Business One 8.8 should be released on SDN in a week or so. Keep checking back.

Hi Jennifer,

It seems the system is detecting a difference from the DI API reference you have in your project (8.8) and the one the B1WizardBase.dll has been compiled (2007). I haven't tried yet but the solution should be either to compile your project only with 2007 (while waiting for a new B1DE release o 8.8) or you download B1DE source code in order to recompile B1WizardBase.dll with DI version 8.8.

Hi Maria,

Today I faced the same problem, so as you suggested I downloaded the source code for B1DE version 2.0.1 to recompile B1WizardBase.dll with Dll refference to SAPbobsCOM and SAPbouiCOM from SAP 8.8 and it worked perfectly !!!.

Until B1DE for SAP 8.8 is developed this is the right solution.

There is not a release of B1DE for version 8.8 yet. There will be one released in the future.

In your project ... have you changed the COM references to the UI and the DI (depending on what you are using) to 8.8?
