i try to create delivery reference to sales order, but some items not coming in delivery and in the log found this error, can anyone help.
Item 000040: delivery split due to conflicting header data (KDGRP: 04 <-> 03)
Message no. VL033
Item 000040 cannot be shipped in the same delivery with the other items in the document because the header data (KDGRP) is different. The KDGRP item field has the value 03, but in the delivery checked for concatenation it has the value 04.
The system issues this message if a delivery split is necessary.
This message either appears in the collective processing log or during creation of outbound deliveries from projects or for subcontracting. It informs you that the item specified will be shipped in a delivery other than the delivery that includes the other items from the same document. If there was a general problem with shipment of the delivery, a different message appears.
If this message appears when you are creating an outbound delivery with reference to a sales order in the foreground, it indicates that the order item cannot be shipped with the current outbound delivery.
If this message appears when you are creating an outbound delivery for a sales order, you have to create an individual delivery for the same sales order to ensure that all items will be shipped.
Hi,
If your question has been answered. Please mark it such.
Customer Group is nothing but group of customers. We use it for Pricing & Reporting purpose.
One Sales/Delivery document is created for one Customer. Now imagine, why will we have two groups for a customer in a sales document?
Understanding it from business point of view will clear your query related to splitting criteria coded in standard system.

Kamlesh

This is what should have been happening actually. Customer group is on item level in the sales order, but header level in the delivery. When customer groups are not the same for all sales order items, a delivery split would be inevitable.
