Landed cost - calculation.

Hi All,

Need to give the solution for the following scenario.

One of my indian client is an importer. They are importing the material and move it to Bonded warehouse without paying any duty(customs, CVD etc.,) let us assume 10 nos. an item.

Client needs to be monitored the bonded warehouse stock..... we can create a warehouse as BOnded warehouse.

Whenever the materials are moved from customs to Bonded warehouse, GRPO can be created.

Afterwards out of 10 nos. client sold 5 nos. of the item to their customer, duty portion is borne by the customer not by the client.

Remaining 5 nos. are lying in the bonded warehouse and that is moved to the client warehouse. Now client is paying custom's duty for only 5 nos. and landed cost to be calculated only for 5 nos. not for 10 nos.

But when we try to enter the landed cost for bondedware house GRPO... the quantity field is not editable.

Let me know please how to overcome the above business scenario.

Thanks&Regards,

Venkatesan G.

    Dear Venkatesan ,

It is not possible to change the quantity of a stock document that is used for audit report after the document has been added.

The only suggestion I have at this point is creating 2 different GRPOs and use only one for the Landed Costs.
