Hi Indrajit,

Thanks for your early response and cooperation.

I have checked in SM59(Connections) as you provided here in system everything is fine. Can you please give any other ways to resolve this issue.

Also you can check the authorization:

SM59 > ABAP Connections> Relevant RFC > Utilities > Test > Authorization Test.

Hi Santosh,

There are two type of users used in RFC.

  1. batch user
  2. dialog user

SM59 > ABAP Connections> Relevant RFC > Logon & Security tab> User. (Type is not visible her. BASIS will maintain the type)

Depending on the requirement BASIS assigns the user type in RFC. For example: Any automated BEx query called from SAP BW to CRM uses dialog user type. It won't work if user type is not batch user.

Please clarify with BASIS and SAP security team.

Hi Indrajit,

Thanks for update.

Already I have checked with basis team they were saying that RFC connection is good to target system. And as you said where I need check for Authorization and user type. Can you please give inputs in detail.

Hi Santosh,

It seems a issue with the RFC connection to target system. I encountered same kind of issue while connecting to BW system. Potentially there are 2 reasons: Authorization and Incorrect user type.

Please check with your basis and security team also.

Hello Santhosh,

I think there must be some other details in the error message apart from just 'Error in system'. Can you post the full text of the error message along with the error message id and number?

Thanks,

Gavin
