Monitoring HANA services for high availability

We are moving our HANA installed on vm to a multi site cluster. In order to achieve high availability, we would like to keep monitoring HANA services and restart them in case any of them stops or crashes abruptly. I think usually services in linux are monitored by an Init that will restart services in case of crashes. Is it okay to add the HANA daemon service to the Init to be restarted in the event of a crash or is there any other external system or approach that can be used to monitor the services?

Kindly share your thoughts or any notes that elaborates how this can be achieved.

Thanks in advance!

Best Regards,

Sanu
