Exclude PREQREL

Hi,

Our client requirement is to Exclude PREQREL demand category from generation of supply lines.

I don't have any idea about this. Can anyone help regarding this.

Hi Dip - if you are using CTM, you may choose to not include the BH cateogory in the demand selection. If it's Heuristic, I suggest to create a dummy planning book which is the copy of what planners are using and run the Heuristic on this book. But in here, change the calculation of 'Total Demand' key-figure to not include the key-figure "Distribution Demand (Planned)". It will subsequently impact the SOH (Projected) key-figure and Heuristic thus will not be able to consider the PReqRel category demands.

PS: I don't suggest doing so though, it would be good to understand why they should not be considered.

Which planning engine are you using?

In CTM it is possible to exclude ATP category from demand
