I have seen similar issue in sdn some one answerd as The environment variable MSSQL_FORCEOLEDB = 1 has to be set for the userID performing the installation

My installation user id ' sapinstall ' and i already set environment variable and system variable MSSQL_FORCEOLEDB = 1 . But no result.

I have to finish this activity this week end. So if any one experianced similar issue then please adress asap.

Are you using the latest kernel versions?

Be aware that, in case you get problems during that migration, SAP will bill the help separately if you're not a certified migration consultant.
