Contract Release

Hi,

Iam getting peculiar problem... I have configured release for contract.while creating contract in ME31K after entering all the data and if i click on release tab, it says purchase document not subject to release.But after saving the contract and if i go to change mode in ME32K and there release is getting triggred once i click the release tab.

Iam not to understand why relase is not getting triggered in ME31K and same is getting triggered in ME32K.
