I'm on a Mac and imported the HANA Express ova into VMWare Fusion Pro 10. When I turn on F5 Big-IP VPN to connect to work network, I cannot access HANA Express anymore. I tried setting a static IP address for HANA Express following https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EiilRNudJ8E∈dex=16&list=PLkzo92owKnVy6nOZMFZIZxcvBCoRdshsR. I tried both network settings "Share with my Mac" and "Private to my Mac", none of those work. Does anyone have solution for this? Previously I had an Oracle DB VM on VirtualBox and had no problem accessing it when the VPN is on.
Hi Lucia & Zhou,
As I had the same problem and reboot my PC solved the problem.
You need to make sure that the HOST IP didn't change, otherwise you need to update the host file accordingly.
Thanks,
Ofer

That did not work for me. I restarted my Mac, connected to the VPN, then started the Hana Express VM. When I started the Hana Express VM, the IP address shown is the same as it was before. The VM only seems to work with VPN off and AutoDetect/Bridged mode. I used the IP address directly instead of host name to try to access it: http://<IP address>:8090, which doesn't work. Then I turned off the VPN and that URL works.
