Internet Explorer Options for IP Layouts

Hi,

We are executing IP layouts on Internet explorer, some of the users are having different challenges like the variable screen not poping up, download to excel giving a pop-up. Are they any NOTES or White Papers on IE browser settings for IP layouts. If so could you pass it on
