All,
Our client planning to implement Punchout catalogue. Please let me know how to start with and how to integrate these catalogue with SRM.
Thanks,
Ravi
Hi Ravi,
Also, very important, the catalog vendor must be OCI compliant. Find attached the OCI 4.0 guidelines which will provide them with the 'template' of the type of data expected by the Open Catalog Interface for successful catalog transfer in either XML or HTML format.

The previous answer will give you the place to enter the information to configure your punch out Catalog, Exactly you need to define the following:
Create a new WebService ID with the apropiate description, make sure you map this newly created (Catalog Definition web-Services) to the BP Number of the vendor providing this punch put catalog and the purchasing Organization.
in the Standard Call structure define the following fields:
SEQ PARAM NAME VALUE TYPE
1 https://www.vendor.comURL/ 0 URL
10 username SY-UNAME (if want to pass the userid of the person who is connecting to the punchout ) 1 SAP Field
20 password XXXXXXX 2 Fixed Value
30 networkid (Blank if there is no views otherwise the view name) 2 Fixed Value
90 HOOK_URL 1 4 Return URL
100 ~target _top 2 Fixed Value
110 ~caller CTLG 2 Fixed Value
120 ~OkCode ADDI 2 Fixed Value
But first you need to talk with the vendors to see if they are punch-out capable, then you need to request from them the Product Categories they use, some of the vendors use UNSPSC codes (http://www.unspsc.org/) which is great. I have found easier to use UNSPSC codes in SRM as product Categories having this ,decreases your future work on mapping unless the vendors do not use any standard, aslo request from them the UoM.
Once you receive the Product Categories and UoM make sure the ones that do not exist in SRM add them in ERP first as Material groups and then replicate them to SRM so you have everything to start and not have any errors in your SC.
Hope this helps

Hi,
Are you going to integrate with Internal Catalog or External Supplier Catalog ?
You need 2 customizing.
1. Catalog access definition
SRM -> SRM Server -> Master Data -> Content Management -> Define External Web Service
2. Catalog attributes setting in PPOMA Org structure
Transaction PPOMA_BBP
