Deploying CRW10

Hi,

We are starting to develop Crystal 10 reports using CRW10 Professional as we recently moved to IBM DB2.

My question: How can we deploy these reports to our client?

1. Do our clients have to buy CRW10 too? if so, we don't want them changing the report - how do we stop that?

2. Is there a crystal viewer/reader we can deploy together with the reports?

3. How does the licensing work here?

Hi Raveen,

Lots of options. CR 10 is way past it's end of life but the logic is still the same. I suggest you call Sales, you can get the number from help About.... in CR designer, and let them know what it is you are wanting to do. They may not be able to help you with CR 10 specific but in general there are other newer products that would fit your deployment model quite nicely.

It does mean having to upgrade to CR 2008 and then using the on line Viewer.

Licensing for 10 is on the CD in the Documents folder.
