Clarification Required in CS15

Hi Experts,

What is the meaning for required qty?

What is the meaning for resulting qty?

When checked 1 line item line it shows the required qty is 2pcs and resulting qty is 0.5pcs? What it means.

Note: I have checked and got the above information without entering any required qty.

As for as my knowledge if we donu2019t enter any required qty it will pick form BOM right, please correct me if am wrong.
