Database error 1034 at CON

Dear All

In our production CI, daily between 00:00 to 01:26 time every 5 minute i am getting following error

Initialization DB-Connect Failed, Return Code 000256 and

Database error 1034 at CON.

please reply.

ORA-01034 means that your database was not available. Most likely your DB is been take offline for a backup or something without taking the system down properly... Check what activities are been run during those hours specially backups.

Hi

As Juan has already suggested, check from DB14, database backup and check at what time your backup is running and what is the backup type ( Online or offline).
