Hierarchy data deletion and reload.

Hello All,

Can any one guide me through the process of deleting a master data that was uploaded into a hierarchy using a flat file and reloading it again using a flat file? Is that going to be a problem?

i am reluctant to try this since i have loaded the transaction data and now want to change the masterdata in hierarchy.

Hi Naveen,

Why do you want to delete the Master data?

You can directly reload the Master data into the Infoobject as it gets overwritten.

And run Attribute change run after loading master data.

This should go fine...

Hi Naveen,

Go To Tcode RSA1->Infoobjects>Tools-> Apply Hierrachy/Attribute Change Run.--->Get the info object list and run the program.

Tcode: RSA1 --> Infoobjects --> Tools --> Apply Hierrachy/Attribute Change Run.

Select the infoobject in RSA1 and then go to the tcode mentioned. there press execute.

Keep refreshing the job running there.
