Issues while creating OM infotype

Hi all,

I have a requirement for creating an Organizational Management infotype(OM).In that total legth of structure will be around 1500.

But in PPCI transaction it is not allowing me to create infotype telling "Total length of infotype fields must not exceed 900".

Any body is having any solution for this?

Hi Ambili B,

You can insert text object and make unlimited amount of text maintained.

Please make use of IT0128.

You can create a similar OM infotype.

Plz clerify, you are talking about a structure or field ?? of lenght of 1500, and wht is the requirement for such a long text fidls on the screen....

In my se11 structure i have 30 fields.

Total length of the 30 fields will be 1500.

If this the case than u can create the sInfotype with each field with 50 char long.... Try to use PM01

U have to create using PPCi and not Pm01.

If you have tried this , and still u have the length problems...

then use as many subtypes as you can ...so that u can differentiate similar data
