.Net Framework applications need to talk to ECC

Dear Friends,

We have .Net applications like Po approvals ,Expense report etc.

Scenario:

when i click Expense application link I need to pass Windows credentilas User id and password and it should authenticate in ECC send the data back to .Net application.

Kindly tell me how can i authenticate and talk to ECC Via PI.

Thank you for the Information. My customer requirement is keep changing they told we are not going with PI for enabling SSO Mechanism .
