link between calendar and chart

Hi All

I am using the Qaaws and there i am getting date. I inserted the data whatever i get in to the excel sheet within the xcelsuis. But i would like to map my data to calendar and my column chart..

my columns are date,plant, tcode, hits.

when i select the date in the calender it suppose to be display the tcode vs the hits.

how to map the date fields to calendar using my data?

Let me understand your requirement...

You have your data like this

date,plant, tcode, hits.

10/1/2009,P1,T1,10

10/2/2009,P2,T2,20

10/3/2009,P3,T3,30

and now you want to map date to a calendar component, so when user selects date, it should show tcode and hits in a column chart...

If this this what you are looking for?

Hi Raghavendra,

You need to use VLOOKUP function lo look for the corresponding hits.

Well, Go to File Menu --> Samples --> User Guide Samples --> Calendar.

Me-thinks, this sample is exactly what u r looking for.

I am using the qaaws..so vlookup does it possible? i gone through the samples like what you referred

Give it a try! I think initially you might get error as vlookup wont be able to find the value.But if the WS is refreshed on load or if you can assign some dummy value for start up purpose, you wont get the error as per my understanding.
