Delete storage location (organizational levels)

Hello

I have two storage locations for one plant in view Plant Data / Storage 1 of MMD.

Please How can I delete one of them?

Hi.

You can go to the config - SPRO > Enterprise structure > Define > Material Management > Storage Location.

Select the one you want (in the correct Plant) and delete it.

Do NOT do this if you have any stock or a warehouse attached or any othere dependents on this Sloc

Hi,

If your material is extended to the storage locations it means that you have corresponding records in table MARD. You cannot delete them directly.

What you can do is to:

1. Mark the material for deletion at storage location level (for those storage locations) in MM06 (or MM17). Doing this you can restrict there movements to those storage ocations.

2. If you want to delete the records physically you can do it only via archiving.

(do not delete storage location in SPRO if you want to get rid of stoarge location extension of your material master...)
