Link Object to warranty (using FM CRM_ADD_WARRENTY_TO_IOBJ)

Hi guys,

I want to link an (I)object to a warranty product by doing some own coding (BAdI enhancement CRM_EQUI_LOAD).

The standard seems to be using the function module CRM_ADD_WARRENTY_TO_IOBJ in a similar scenario (automatic link of warranty for referenced product in equipment).

When calling the FM there is no filled return value in form get_single_warrenty.

Does anybody have some experience with using this FM?

Hi,

the naming of the FM is misleading i.e. it is only working in a special scenario (assigning the warranty of the underlying reference product of the equipment to the object).

Now I copied the FM and adapted it according to the general purpose of assigning warranties.
