could i enter the cost of the material during opening material master ?

Can any body tell me that where could i enter the cost of the material during opening material master so that its impact could be viewed at the costing module.

hi,

You maintain standard price in material master in accounting1 view tab, in the field for Standard Price and where the pricing control should be 'S'

While creating New Material Master, we can maintain the u201Ccost of the materialu201D as below :

a) For Raw Materialsu2014Price Control-Vu2014In the Material Master>Costing2 view>Planned Prices--> Give required cost of material. Price that the system can take as a basis for product costing.

b) For Simi-finished and finished productsu2014Price Control "S"in Material Master>Costing View2>Valuation data>Standard Price-Give your required cost of material.
