Hi,
Can any one let me know what is the exact MDM's contribution to ESOA (Enterprise-wide Service-Oriented Architecture).
i am aware of features of MDM, so lets not discuss about that. I just want to know the above.
Regards
Eva.
Hi Eva,
There is an interesting article series and blogs on SDN covering this topic.
The first article covering MDM in this context is:
- [Enterprise Information Management in the Context of SOA: 1. Discover SOA Artifacts & Consolidate Master Data|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/60f44a13-7d6c-2c10-199c-d6cec3419027].
There are several blogs on integrating MDM with BPM which relate to overall SOA:
See (for example):
- [MDM and BPM: A perfect combination for User Centric Processes|/people/steffen.ulmer/blog/2009/08/27/mdm-bpm-a-perfect-combination-for-user-centric-processes], or
