My doubt is, if i am adding any new parameter/ changing any parameter from False to True in the MDS.ini file.. is it MANDATORY to restart the server for the changes to reflect?
Yes you should actually restart the server after making changes in mds.ini file. At time it may even work without restarting the server and changes may get reflected but in case it doesn't, you need to restart the server.
