Dear all,

I am facing problem in while starting instance.the error give below.

Starting SAP Instance DVEBMGS01

-


/usr/sap/BIP/DVEBMGS01/exe/sapstartsrv: error while loading shared libraries: librfcum.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Startup of Instance Service failed

kindly guide me .

Dear All

Problem has been resolved.

Solution :

The lib file has missed. I have again copy and past the backup files in that directory.

Hi dear,

I have tried but its not right one so again i have rewert back that process and start the sap after then i have got this issue.

Hi Skiruba,

It looks like that kernel which you reverted back is not fine. because as you look into the error *.so file is missing.

Prior to doing kernel upgrade have you taken the old kernel backup (backup of exe directory)

hi,

yes i have taken copy of that folder "exe" . in tha same file i have put and started sap. This error came in old kernel.

Looks like it is not copied in the first place correctly or copied back correctly. Check the files missing are in the backup folder or not. Also make sure you copy the kernel in the correct folders.
