Hi All,
Is it possible to set so that user enter number in table field using comma instead of dot?
If I set user language to lets say russian, then numbers in table are displayed with comma, thats all right.
But when I go edit the number, I have to enter number with decimal point, thne when I leave the cell (when cell not in focus) then it is displayed with comma again.
That is completely confusing behavior for user.
Can something be done to have decimal comma in both display and edit?
Also wehn I export table to Excel the number are exported again with points!
Is there a way to make consistent decimal comma in Display, Edit and Export to Excel???
Thanks in advance.
Regarding both subjects - the Numeric formatting and Export to Excel - the main question here is what version of Visual Composer are you on.
Any issues with numeric formatting (especially when talking about non-en locales) were solved completly on SP17, and you are right - given the user's locale, you should (and can) see the number formatted according to locale in the display and edit mode, and edit according to locale. this is the current situation in Visual Composer, if you are not expriencing this state - upgrade, or let SAP support know about it via OSS ticket.
regarding the Export to excel - this was also solved for the next release of Visual Composer.

Hi,
try with English also ,chnage the user language to English and now try to edit the table's data.
and it should allow all the type of fromates if it is field of type Text.
otherwise it will not display the foramte how you entered.

Hi
The field which you are using is of which 'Data type'. There are two data types for each field 'Text' & 'Num'.
Have you tried it with both the options?
