Exchange rate type issue for automatic payment (f110)

Hello,

Exchange rate type B was maintained at doc type KZ & ZP. For manual payment system is picking exchange rate type B and but while doing F110 payments, system is picking Exchange rate type M.

Option 1)

We can suggest the user to input exchange rate type B under parameteres while executing f110 ,but we think its bit risky if user miss to maintain while executing f110.

Option 2)

If we maintain alternative exchange rate type for M (EUR-INR) as B in OBBS. For f110 payment ,system is picking up exchange rate type B.(Met the requirement)

I Would like to know what are the affects on other transactions if we go with option 2. Is there any other solution available to meet the requirement apart from above two ?please suggest.

Hi,

It is a standard behavior of the system. It always pick default exchange rate type M for clearing transactions. That's why in F110 you have option to chose different exchange rate type. However, if you maintain alternate exchange rate type as B for type M, then system will pick the exchange rate type B for all transactions, which will trigger the M. Either you have to maintain the type manually M or try to create a substitution in GGB1/OBBH to replace with B for F110 t.code.

Mukthar

Hi Ahamed,

Thanks for your time. Looks like we need to attach an user exit to the substitution. confirm if there is any other way to do it in GGB1.

Thanks.
