about the column attribute

Dear experts:

In the screen of creating po using t-code:ME21N,i want to make certain column obligatory.

In the std sap,it's optional.

Has any solution can implement it?,pls give me some advice,thank you very much!

Hi

Normally fields are made mandatory or optional. You need to make required column field mandatory in customization at following path.

SPRO--> Materials Management --> Purchasing --> Purchase Order --> Define Screen Layout at Document Level --> field selection ( Make mandatory field for relevant field selection group.)

Now I find in the IMG of layout, a field label may contain several columns,i just want to make a certain column

obligatory. But in the IMG it only control by field label level.......

How can control by certain column level?

Hi ,

Normally all fields can be made as per reqt in screen layout activity. You can choose ME21n or NBF layout to ssuit your reqt. in SPRO.

Review the fields there and change as per ur reqt.
