MDM Sender Adapter Error

Dear Experts,

i use MDM sender adapter in PI 7.0 SPS18 to pickup master data from MDM 7.1 SP3. I have configured the sender channel. But channel is throwing the following error:

MDM Adapter listener could not start due to: Can not create repository session '<server=abcxyz serverUser=Admin repository=Material M2P 20090924 - Compact user=PI_Admin>' caused by: The specified MDM repository was not found on the server.

Anyone faced this error? Wat could be the possible cause?

Hi Rambabu,

Can you check with your MDM team regarding repository session .you need to configure the Sender MDM Channel parameters are like 1) MDM Repository 2)Repository User 3)Repository Password 4)Port Code 5)Remote system Code....

All the above information gets it from MDM team....Please take care about Port Code and Remote system Code

Hi,

The parameters MDM Repository, User, PWD, Port Code and Remote system code seems fine. Will there be any version mismatch with PI and MDM servers as i read in one of the forums that root cause was 'PI and MDM were on different SP levels'.

Please sugest.

Which adapter are you using to retrieve the data from MDM 7.1? are you using MDM-PI adapter or File adapter.??

If you are using MDM-PI Adapter you should deploy the adapter in PI server with MDM jar files.If everything fine then check you have authorization to acces mdm server or repository.

Hi Raj,

Yes i use MDM adapter and the same is deployed in PI server. User credentials are given by MDM team and there is no issue with authorization to the repository. Is there something else that i can check for?
