SSO2 Wizard Error

Hi Experts?

After Single sign on configuration between EP 7.0 and HR backend - the following error displays when trying to correct the SSO inconsistencies using the SSO2 Wizard:

"An error has occurred: Exception during invocation of the remote MBeanServer method, target node: xxxxxxxxxx"

Much appreciated.

Regards,

Brandon

Hi!

I had the same issue and I solved it as follows:

I opened the portal once and again until I fell in the server node indicated in the error message. How to know it? Open Internet Explorer, paste your portal's URL and before you log in paste javascript:alert(document.cookie) in the direction bar, click enter and a message will appear which specifies the server node where you are now.

Make this stem until you're in the server node indicated in the error message. Once there log in in the portal, open http://<host>:<port>/sso2 and clic on "I accept". The message will desappear.

I hope this is useful to you.

Best Regards!

Dear All,

I had faced the same error and none of solutions above helped in my case.

But I found what the root cause was. My Portal has got 2 server nodes and that is why SSO2 Wizard is not eager to work.

To solve this problem you just have to apply the newest version of SSO2 Wizard from SAP note 1083421 (use the force option to enable the deployment of components in any version).

Hi?

Deactivated the additional server nodes and there-after re-imported the certificates.

Seems to have solved the problem!

Thnx

Hi Brandon,

I have similar problem. I am trying to implement SSO using SSO2 wizard. This is what I wish to do.

1) Download verify.der certificate from my consumer portal.

2) on Producer Portal run SSO2 application to import the certificate from step 1).

but as soon as I run the application http://host:port/sso2 I get the Error " same as you indicated in the logs" on specific server node. Note at this point I have not even uploaded any certificate then how come I get that error.

all i want to do is to establish trust between the 2 system to do my Federated Portal Setup.

can you let me know what could be the issue and how to turn of that specific node to allow import certificate in target system.

Thanks !!

Hello,

I had the same issue. And I solved it by logging on directly on the application server having issue's. And click on the accept button.

I found the application server by going to the system information page and search on the node impacted.

Kind regards,

Hi Brandon.

The message

"An error has occurred: Exception during invocation of the remote MBeanServer method, target node: xxxxxxxxxx"

only indicate that a problem exist. You should check your portal logs for more information related to this error.

Also there are useful wiki pages about SSO troubleshooting:
