Can ws exposed from Pi70 handle 5-10 million records

Hi Friends,

we have a scenario, wherein 5-10 million records needs to be sent from SAP system to J2EE system using PI70.

we are exposing outbound Mi as web service to J2ee system for consuming.Can this SOAP connection/MI Outbound handle 5-10 million records without failure in between.

Advises will be appreicated.

Of course PI can handle 5-10 million records unless all records should be processed the same time.

Thanks for your reply.

The customer has to get 5-10 million records in one go through PI .Can we assure him from SAP PI &0 end?

or can we suggest XI Adapter instead of SOAP if it can handle that many records in single go?

If not shold we suggest him to create variants from ABAp side and sent the records as different set?

No matter which adapter you use, 5-10 mils is a lot of data for PI to handle. Better to split the message in smaller chunks.
