Badi for mm01 - units of measure

Hi experts,

My requirement is User should not create material with out units of measure in additional data.

User should maintain un(units for all finished material). I maintain this control based on sales organisation. kindly provide BADI / USER EXIT.

hi right now i donot have system with me.

But i remember a exit MGA00001 for checks in MM01.

Check whether its applicable.

Just keep a break-point in * CALL FUNCTION 'SXV_ADD_PREFIX' * of function module SXV_GET_CLIF_BY_NAME.

Run your transaction MM01.

Check the exporting parameter name of the function module.

It will give you the BADi names used in MM01.

For your requirement of checking material master fields, while saving. we have a BADI to solve your requirement, Try to impelement BADI_MATERIAL_CHECK. This gives access to check all fields before material master creation or changing.
