Automatic Syndication

Hello Experts:

Does anybody know where to setup automatic syndication? I have on the port Processing Type = Automatic and Processing Interval = continues. But I still need to push the syndication manually through syndication manager, until then the files go to the ready folder.

Dear Claudia

Settings for auto syndication are:

1. Define an outbound port with processing type as Automatic.

2. Define a syndication map connecting to the xsd schema and then assign this map in the port defined in step1.

3. IF Admin password has been changed from blank then make the relevant changes in PasswordE parameter in MDSS.ini file.

4. Restrat the MDSS for the password change to come to effect.

You should create syndication map in Syndicator and save it

Then you should stop repository and in you outbound port

select from drop down you syndication map

after that you should start repository

then start syndication server

get syndicated file from outbound port directory

(usally to the syndicated file add only records that not early syndicated)
