how to do transport objects from DEV to QA>
In Integration Repository object:
Right click on the Namespace which you want to send to Quality system and select the export optin and export
it....this will create a .tpz file on the server following path
\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\export\sample.tpz
<what to do after creation of .tpz files for DEV>
This file will be copied and pasted in follwoing path of QA
\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\import\sample.tpz
Similar procedure for directory
Right click on the configuration scenarion in development which you want to send to Quality select the export
optin and export it....this will create a .tpz file on the server following path
\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\xi\directory_server\export\sample.tpz
<how to reflect it in QA >
then login to the IR of the Quality select the Tools--Import option you will get this tpz file and import it and
activate.

Hi SubbaReddy,
If your transport process is a simple File Transport.
You don't have to do anything, just right click on the scenario and say "Export".
1. By Default, Transport using File System mode is selected
2. The scenario to be transported is selected.
3. Transport - The scenario and all objects under it are saved with ".tpz" extension in this directory of your DEV server
InstallationDrive:\usr\sap\SID\SYS\global\xi\directory_server\export
Now you have to either move this file manually from this folder to import folder of your QA system.
We have a similar requirement and a unix script was written to move the content from DEV export folder to QA import folder.
After the .tpz file is moved to import folder (InstallationDrive:\usr\sap\SID\SYS\global\xi\directory_server\import )of QA.
Open ID of QA system, and select "Import Configuration Objects"
You will find the exported .tpz file in the list, just click OK. Your transport is done.
The transported objects are saved in a new change list in QA system, you need to activate the change list to reflect the changes.
Hope this answers your question!!

Younus

Hi
The following sequence should be followed while transporting XI Objects from DEV to QA
1) Export the DEV SLD with export All on your desktop...Export ALL will contain All products,SWCV,TS,BS ...(.zip file)
2)Go to QA XI and import the above .zip file in QA SLD.
3) Now create TS & BS for QA XI ..give related integration server of QA XI .....Now QA XI will have BS of DEV as well as QA.
4) Create Transport Groups in QA SLD for DEV & QA Business systems based on their integration server.
5) Now create Transport targets in QA SLD for all DEV B.S........give QA B.S as target for each B.S.....
6) Export IR Objects from DEV and import in QA
7) Export ID Objects from dev and import in QA...it will be in change list..provide the User credentials, directory path and file name for QA and Activate....Since we have given the transport targets of QA ...the dev business systems will automatically get changed into QA business systems.

Instead , I would prefer CTS..., just configure CTS and rest things will be managed automatically.
