Flex: Adobe Flex Builder & DataBinding

Hi guys,

i have a problem with the databinding of Flex and my WD App.

I want to transfer the input data on the flex to my application.

in the flex builder console is always the following:

[FlashIslandLoader.loadServerImpl ] ERROR No URL specified for the server implemenation

could this be the reason for my data-transfer problem? i have no idea, what this message means... i have tried the WDIslandLibrary.swc and the WDIslandLibrary30.swc with the same effect.

Flex Coding:

[Bindable]
        public var test:int = 120;

SAP:

Id	GACPROPERTY
name	TEST
readOnly	0
value	VI_FLASH.TEST

I have also fire a event (this works):

FlashIsland.fireEvent(this, "newSel");

But in the debugger, the test attribute is initial!

Please help me!

Many thanks in advance!

Best regards,

ludwig

    Well at runtime, the actual FlashIslands framework is loaded from the server. It looks like it is failing to find the framework. Have you tested with any of the SAP example FlashIslands applications? Are you sure that all the necessarily nodes in SICF are active? If you can replicate this error with a standard SAP application and SICF nodes are active, then you should probably open a support ticket.

    • The library itself is stored in the MIME repostiory at SAP/PUBLIC/BC/UR/nw7/FlashIslands. Make sure it is there. The basic required nodes for WDA should cover the root of the MIME repository. Actually if you couldn't server out the FlashIsland file, you would have other problems with rendering as well. The list of required services are documented in SAP Note 1088717.

      You also must be in LightSpeed mode (the default rendering mode). But make sure you haven't disabled LightSpeed globally or at the application level.
