Dynamic Action (T588Z) - Lock IT0003 (field ABRSP)

I am looking to add a dynamic action in T588Z to lock the personnel number in IT0003 when a new starter / hiring action is made.

Any ideas on how I would set this up would be greatly appreciated!

Can i know whey you want to lock it this can be happened with the help of useing Sub routine

It's due to segregation of duties.

HR do the new starter / hire action and Payroll check this then enter bank, tax, NI infotypes etc. Payroll would like to be able to stop the PERNR running through payroll until they have had chance to do their part of the process.

i did not understand your query properly

but check the option of Useing Sub Routine

or else if your user is willing to run one more pre action

Pre Hire action and in that assing the dummy pay roll area for that Employee

Later run the actual Hire
