Service order - mass cancellation of confirmation

Hi,

We have confirmed about 100 000 rows on service orders and are now cancelling the confirmations in IW47. This takes VERY long time to cancel (up to three days). Do anyone have some tips how to do this in a quicker way? We don´t think IW45 is an option.

Hi,

Instead of deleting an order,we can assign the reason for rejection.

Goto T.Code "MASS".

Enetr the object type as "BUS2032".

Press F8 or Click on "Execute".

Click on Fields.

Search for the field "MASSVBAP-ABGRU".

Select that line entry.

Enter your order numbers range in from and to fields.

Execute and then assign the reason for rejection.

After this the status will be changed to completed and cannot be billed.

Save.

For clearance. We don´t want to delete any orders. We want to cancel the confirmation of a service order done in transaction IW42.

Dear Friend,

Mass maintenance thru T-Code MASS will not Delete any Sales Orders.

It will just change the status of the Order from Open (confirmed) to Closed (Completed) & you cannot do any futher processes with these Orders.

Hi again,

For clearance. We don´t want to delete any orders. We want to cancel the confirmation of a service order done in transaction IW42. This is not about sales orders but service orders.

Hi

You can cancell the orders by Mass you can use the Transcation code /nmass

and enter the object bus23 and then select the relevant details like header and

item enter the reason for rejection field and execute the process

This will save ur time for cancelling the order

Thanks for your help. We only wonder about the object bus23. We can´t choose that object so we wonder if we have to create it? Could you please tell us how if that´s the solution?
