Alpha numeric number range for External batch number assignment

Hai gurus,

I was able to assign the External number range while doing GR using T.C = MB31(101) and able to view the

batch number in T.C = MMBE.

But i want to assign Alpha numeric number range while doing GR, how i can do this, when i am assigning the

number range Under T.C = SNUM it is not accepting alpha numeric as it is accepting only numbers, how to

solve this problem

Sekar,

You need to activate the check box for "EXT" field and then input your number range with your requirement. You can do it in OMAD transaction for object BATCH_CLT.
