Consignment stock location

Hi

Need new consignment stock location set up for customer XXXXXXX. Stock location XXXX

How to create this?

If you want to create a new storage location, you can do so in ox09 Also in MMSC, you have to extend this storage location.

Generally whenever you receive consignment stock, it will create a sepearte line item in the stock overview...You can check the same in MMBE...

Now if you want to have seperate Storage location for your customer XXXXXX..Then you have to create 1 new sloc and you can name it as consignment stock or customer consignment stock....So straight away you can maintain consignment stocks there.

The normal storage location creation and consignment storage location creation are same or different???

Both are different...

The moment you do GRN for consignment SAP system will automatically create a seperate line item which signifies consignment stock...

Now you create a sepearte sloc by naming Consignment customer store...

Now the moment you do GRN, enetr this particular store.....Chekc in MMBe...it will appear in sepearte line item.

Now after GRN if you want to transfer consignment stock to your store then same you can it 411 MVT...
