Excel Formula within EVDRE

Hello All,

Is it possible to have an Excel formula within a EVDRE function? I do not want to insert cells or anything. Also, I do not want to use EV-before & after. This is my scenario:

I have assets as a top node and have the accounts as a base node. When I change a value in my base node, I am required to send data to the database for the Assets to display the updated value. Is there a way, I cud specify also SUM excel function in addition to the one from the database and display if there are any variances.
