Hi, we defined prt as bom item. so we need to calibrate the prt after reaching 100 shots. so accordingly for each production order we issue prt material to the order. accordingly the qty in stock will be reduced. now by using trigger points in pp, can we able to set the creation of notification when the stock qty of prt is reduced to 10? pls avice how to map this?

This is a PM functionality using the Counters and Notificartions.

Hi,

Most of the trigger point functions are mapped within Shop floor activities like:

1) Releasing of succeding/preceding operations

2) creating a new order type

For your functionality - try the triggering of workflow .You can use the Start workflow task function, for example, to start single-step or multistep tasks. The function is then started when the status of the operation assigned to the trigger point changes.
